I was interviewed regarding my journey with body-positivity. Hashtag our stories reached out to me after one of my TikTok's went viral. In that TikTok I was normalizing my quarantine weigh gain and encouraging others to love and be kind to themselves despite their size or what they might look like on the outside.
I spoke publicly at the national "Take Back The Night" rally at the University of Oregon. This is a national event meant to bring awareness to sexual assault and provide a safe space for survivors.At the time, I was the internal director of UO Mujeres, a womxn-empowerment student-led organization on campus. I was the spokesperson for our group and I decided to share my survivor story against sexual assault. Our student organization helped co-organize this annual event that brought ~1,000 student
I was interviewed by yahoo life regarding a Black Lives Matter donation video I published on youtube in response to Zoe Amira's donation video in order to bring awareness and donations to the Black Lives Matter movement. Read the article for more.
